Use the Bottle Bit to sand down the edge of your bottle after you cut it. The Bottle Bit is a sturdy metal canister that attaches to your 3/8 inch power drill.

It comes with a foam barrel and several pieces of foam padding. This padding is used to get a snug fit for any sized bottle up to 3 1/2 inches. This will work for smaller soda or beer bottles as well as standard sized wine bottles.

What started out as an idea for speeding up the bottle cutting and finishing process, ended up being a successful Kickstarter campaign. 429 backers pledged over $21,000 to bring this product to life.

The Bottle Bit has changed everything about glass bottle cutting for me. I literally had the thing out of the box and set up in the back yard in no time at all. With it’s ease of use sanding bottles isn’t a chore anymore and is actually quite fun. Who wouldn’t want to see the final result actually look like a finished product?

This product is awesome for sanding wine bottles. I am saving a ton of time using this and getting a better edge then I ever did sanding by hand.

This has been a huge help for my glass projects. Completely speeds up the process of cleaning up the glass edges, and creates a smoother edge than I’ve been able to get without it
